Our registered valuers handle residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural property, preparing valuations for bank financing, compulsory land acquisition, probate, rating and taxation in line with the Malaysian Valuation Standards.

Professional Experience

  • Schooled in tertiary enrol in England and graduated in 1984 with a Diploma in Valuation Surveying. Started his surveying career as a valuation assistant with Jordan Lee & Jaafar, Kuala Lumpur in 1977 up to 1981 before pursuing tertiary education in England. Upon graduation in 1984, he joined Colliers, Jordan Lee & Jaafar as a Graduate Valuer.
  • Seconded to its Ipoh Branch in 1987 as an Assistant Branch Manager/Valuer. Left Colliers in October 2004 and started the present company as the Perak Branch in June 2005.
  • Has no less than 40 years of postgraduate working experience in most fields of property consultancy.
  • Fully responsible for organizing and preparation of valuations of landed/ plant and machinery, and in special job assignments comprising valuations for SC (Securities Commission) submissions since 1989 and with the latest in a 2019/2020 (Covid years) (plantation/plant & machinery valuation) assignments, valuation of specialized properties (eg. large development/theme parks/recreational resort projects, quarries, plant & machinery, specialized agricultural holdings (prawn/turtle/ornamental fish farms) and land rights.
  • Consultation works in relation to joint ventures, privatisation projects, land acquisitions, stamp duty and real property gains tax and also with direct property consultation/management to the building team in the management of a property portfolio including a 15-storey office building and industrial/residential properties, and with involvement in landed properties (housing/commercial) developments in the last 5 years.
  • Handling estate agency works from listing to completion of sales.
  • Valuer in charge of the Perak Office.
